As Care Net continues to pursue its Pro Abundant Life vision, we have launched an exciting new effort to save unborn lives, build strong families, and make disciples for Christ. This past fall, we launched a Pacific Northwest Fatherhood Project — a bold, three-year regional effort to strengthen families by engaging fathers like never before.

For more than 50 years, Care Net has faithfully served women facing pregnancy decisions. But we’ve also recognized a critical truth: you can’t fully serve families without reaching fathers. When a man steps into his God-given role, it changes everything — for the mother, for the child, and for the future of that family.

From the launch of the Joseph Project in 2015, to national pilot programs that have increased father engagement, to reaching thousands of dads through Doctor Dad®, we’ve seen what’s possible when ministries intentionally include men.

Through a generous grant from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust and the support of additional partners, Care Net is investing deeply in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington — regions filled with opportunity, but also unique challenges. Over the next three years, we will partner with 15 pregnancy centers, equipping them with training, coaching, and proven tools to build or strengthen fatherhood ministries.

This is about more than programming. It’s about culture change.

Fathers are not absent or overlooked, but welcomed, discipled, and empowered. Where men facing an unexpected pregnancy encounter not just information, but transformation through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

When fathers thrive, families grow stronger. And when families are stronger, communities are changed, lives are saved, and disciples are made!

I’m deeply grateful for the donors, partners, and frontline leaders making this possible through Care Net. Together, we are advancing a Pro Abundant Life vision that reflects God’s heart for the whole family — mother, father, and child.
