Care Net’s president and CEO Roland Warren presented the 2019 Guy Condon Presidential Award to Options Pregnancy Center of Cabot, Arkansas on September 6, 2019. Options Pregnancy Center Executive Director Vikki Parker accepted the award at the Care Net National Conference in St. Louis, MO.
The Guy Condon Presidential Award was created to honor a center with a holistic approach to client care, including a focus on healthy marriage, fatherhood, and motherhood. This center also engages local churches in providing ongoing “life-support” to women and couples. Each year, Care Net presents the award to a center that exemplifies these qualities.
Roland praised Options Pregnancy Center for its “comprehensive approach” to client care. The center served nearly 3,500 clients in 2018 and all its client advocates have been certified life coaches since 2016. Roland also highlighted how Options Pregnancy Center goes above and beyond to meet its clients’ needs by “providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to women, men and families who are experiencing unplanned pregnancies.”
When accepting the award, Vikki thanked her fellow pregnancy center leaders, saying “I stand in awe of you, that I stand among, and thank you for doing the work that you do.”
