Care Net’s 2025 National Conference in Charlotte, NC, marked a milestone few ministries reach: 50 years of faithfully standing for life. With more than 1,800 leaders, pastors, and pregnancy center staff gathered, the event was both a celebration and a recommissioning. As President and CEO Roland Warren reminded us, this “Year of Jubilee” is not just about looking back with gratitude but also about pressing forward with renewed vision. From keynote addresses to bustling workshops, the message was clear: saving babies is only the beginning. The ultimate goal is abundant life—building strong families, connecting them to churches, and making disciples who live and love like Jesus. That vision makes Care Net’s mission more than a cause; it makes it a calling.

#1 Jubilee as a Lens for Ministry

Warren pointed to Leviticus 25 and the theme of Jubilee—looking back to see God’s faithfulness while looking ahead with hope. For Care Net, the mission is not just saving lives but setting captives free: those burdened by abortion, men reclaiming fatherhood, and families in need of grace and restoration.

#2 Holding Fast to Our First Love

Drawing from Revelation 2, Warren warned of the danger of losing sight of the gospel while doing good work. Pregnancy centers cannot settle for being social workers without the gospel. The call is to be disciple makers—living out both the Great Commandment and the Great Commission—so that love and truth always walk hand in hand.

#3 From Pro-Life to Pro-Abundant Life

The vision is bigger than a single decision. Care Net’s abundant life perspective asks: if everything could change for a woman facing an unplanned pregnancy except the pregnancy itself, what would we want for her? The answer: a supportive father, a stable marriage, a loving family, and a connection to the church that makes disciples. It’s a vision rooted in God’s design for family and His call to build a legacy of life.
