There’s no denying that the circumstances of 2020 have led to a new era of virtual events. And now, yet another celebration we anticipate annually””the annual March for Life””has been impacted.

The bad news is that this is the first time in 48 years, the event won’t draw tens of thousands of people to Capitol Hill to peacefully march voicing their concern for the unborn. Between the pandemic and the extra strain on DC law enforcement through the month of January, organizers felt it unwise to invite massive crowds to the city. While many are disappointed to not be able to march in person this year, there’s actually some good news. There’s a chance this could be the biggest March for Life ever. Why?

Because the event is moving online!

On Friday, January 29th you can participate in the March for Life from your home! You can attend a pre-rally concert with popular Christian artist, Matthew West (11am eastern), and then journey at noon with a small group of pro-life leaders who will broadcast their march to the steps of the Supreme Court building. If you’re interested, you can even attend the annual Rose Dinner featuring keynote speaker Tim Tebow, virtually.

If you want to participate – you must RSVP by using this link. When you do, you’ll receive an email on the day of the March with a link to participate.

Virtual March Not For You?

If the idea of a virtual march doesn’t excite you, there are many other meaningful ways you can stand up and support the cause of life. We must push forward with the work that men and women like you do every single day to support, encourage, and inspire couples and communities to choose life for their unborn babies and abundant life for themselves and their families.

Take the time you would have spent traveling and volunteer at your local pregnancy center. Chances are, they have a need you could help fill! Or, take the money you would have spent on your hotel room and meals in DC, and donate to Care Net, your local pregnancy center, or another pro-life organization. Or, why not decide that this is the year you’re going to take a next step in helping women and men inside your church (and your own community) make life-affirming choices? Consider talking to your pastor about starting a Making Life Disciples group in 2021! Perhaps there are others, like you, inside your congregation who are ready to connect with like-minded believers (even if it’s through Zoom!) to become more active in the mission to not just make abortion illegal, but to make it unthinkable!

The March may be virtual this year, but your life-saving response to abortion doesn’t have to be. Together, we can bring the march to our local communities by serving the moms and dads considering abortion. Together we can make abortion unthinkable!
