What is the most rewarding part of your job?

Being surrounded by like-minded individuals who love the Lord, who are not afraid to discuss Jesus, and who are working towards serving our community while protecting God’s children.

What is your favorite Bible verse/book/chapter/section? Why?

Ecclesiastes 9:17- The quiet words of a wise man speak louder than the shouts of a foolish ruler. This is my favorite bible verse because it reminds me to stop, think, put myself in the other person’s shoes, and think what God is teaching me in this moment. It has served me well in many areas of my life.

Do you have any weird phobias?

I do not like wiggly teeth- after being a school teacher, one of the most upsetting things to me is to see a kiddo wiggle a loose tooth in their mouth. YUCK!

Where are you from? Where did you grow up?

Born and raised in Albuquerque, NM, until I moved down south to Las Cruces, NM, where I met my husband and he took us on an eleven-year adventure before landing in the Dallas area.
