What is the most rewarding part of your job?

That I have a purpose. In everything I do I have the opportunity to glorify God and to preserve life. Everyday is an absolute blessing to work with the amazing staff here at Care Net. I’m typically a more behind the scenes type person, but I look forward to the moments where I get to pray and minister to others. My goal in life is to be the hands and feet of Jesus wherever I go.

What is your favorite Bible verse/book/chapter/section? Why?

My favorite verse is Psalm 37:4 – “Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.” As a child I  thought this meant that God would grant me any material desire as long as I stayed joyful in Him. It wasn’t until I was older that I understood it meant that my desires would align with what God desires for me.

Do you have any weird phobias?

I hate spiders. I once got stuck in the bathroom standing on top of a toilet seat because the gigantic spider was on the floor in the doorway and I wasn’t about to step over him. He could jump!

Why are you pro-life?

I believe that God created all life, and each life is a beautiful and unique masterpiece of His creation. It’s incredibly important to me to protect the unborn, His perfect creation, and to stand up for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Where are you from? Where did you grow up?

I’m from a small town that I feel like no one has ever heard of called Sabillasville, MD. I moved to Gettysburg, PA when I married my husband in 2018.

What are your hobbies?

I enjoy baking, gardening, watching crime documentaries, skiing, and I’m a space exploration enthusiast, especially rocket launches.

Who is your favorite fictional character and why?

Lorelai Gilmore. She’s a single mom who works hard to achieve her dreams while raising her daughter. The show spans seven seasons, and I’ve watched it all the way through at least 19 times!
