What is the most rewarding part of your job?

I love getting to be a part of the work God is doing in people’s lives. It is often something unexpected in our lives that God uses to shape and mold us. This is one of the coolest things about being able to be a part of fatherhood ministry and pro-life ministry, so much of what happens is unexpected, but so often we can see God do amazing things in the midst of unexpected circumstances.

What is your favorite Bible verse/book/chapter/section? Why?

The first verse I memorized was John 16:33. “Trouble in this life is guaranteed, but the hope we have in Christ will outlive all the trouble, sin, pain, sickness, and death in the world, so take heart!”

Why are you pro-life?

I am pro-life because God values human life. Each human bears the image of God. This is true of babies at conception all the way through to people in the last stages of their lives. God made life beautifully and it is worth protecting and preserving it.

What is something people don’t know about you?

I love audiobooks, especially dramatized fiction. I listen to a rotation of theology, history, biography, and fiction. But I listen to the books on 2x speed. Apparently, some people think that this isn’t real reading…

What are your hobbies?

I like to be involved in lots of interesting things. I enjoy books, video games, working out with friends, trying my hand at different crafting projects, and I would love to have more time for podcasting.
