associate director of fatherhood & family
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
I love talking vision and brainstorming creative solutions to big problems. Being on the team at Care Net allows me to turn brainstorms into blog posts and webinars and curriculums that have a national reach for furthering God’s work—what an honor!
What is your favorite Bible verse/book/chapter/section? Why?
The Psalms are vital to me, not only in my own devotional life, but also in active ministry. I highly recommend a book called War Psalms of the Prince of Peace by James E. Adams, which helped me better understand the imprecatory Psalms and how to place even the most difficult emotions in God’s hands by praying them.
Why are you pro-life?
I’m pro-life because I grew up in a home where the Word of God was taught every day and life was cherished in the womb and beyond. As the second oldest of eight children, I held and helped with younger siblings all through my formative years. I would not trade one of them for the world, and we continue to share abundant life in Christ as we welcome and teach our own children.
What is something people don’t know about you?
I have many interests that don’t often actively overlap, so depending on whether you know me from circles related to violin, ministry, hunting, art, or writing, it will take time for you to get to know several things about me.
What is your favorite book?
Till We Have Faces by C. S. Lewis. If you’re new to Lewis, there are several others to start with, but if you’ve gotten to this one and you loved it, our friendship is off to a great start.
