When Claudia* first called Care Net’s national hotline, her voice trembled with fear. She was pregnant, overwhelmed, and convinced that abortion was her only option. Her circumstances were complicated, and her heart was heavy. But thanks to your support, Claudia was NOT.
God led her to discover our hotline, and He worked within Claudia’s heart to give her the courage to dial the number. Once her call was answered, the voice she heard was from one of Care Net’s compassionate coaches—a trained, faith-filled listener ready to hear Claudia and respond with truth, hope, and the love of Christ. As they talked, Claudia’s fear began to subside. She considered all the information and the support her coach was giving her. Gradually, her heart was open to the possibility of choosing life. By the end of the call, she said she wanted to keep her baby. She even planned to share the news with her husband on his birthday.

When Claudia shared her exciting news, her husband’s response was NOT what she anticipated. He told her he wanted a separation! Almost immediately, Claudia could feel her earlier joy being drained out of her. Filling the void, fear and uncertainty crept back in.
Thanks to God and to you, Claudia didn’t panic. She didn’t schedule a hasty abortion. What she did was call her coach to talk. Full of sorrow and second thoughts, she felt like there was simply too much opposition mounting against her decision to become a mom. She was leaning back toward abortion.

That’s when our team rallied in prayer. With our entire staff and many of you who receive our prayer texts lifting Claudia before the Lord, interceding for her peace, her healing, and her baby’s life, something changed for her again.
Because of your prayers and generosity, a coach was there to answer Claudia’s calls every single time she needed a voice of honesty, truth, and support. You made sure a trained, loving voice was ready to listen. You ensured that Claudia heard God’s truth and grace when she needed it most.
And then, just days later, the call came. Claudia chose life! She said she was looking forward to the next phase for her growing family.
Claudia is now working hard to prepare for her baby’s arrival. She still faces challenges, but she no longer faces them alone. She knows she is loved, and she’s embracing the future with new strength.
