As a Pro Abundant Life ministry, Care Net’s vision is rooted in John 10:10. Our ultimate goal is not merely to save babies from abortion, but to ensure that mothers, fathers, and their families experience the holistic transformation that can only be found in Jesus Christ.
To achieve this, we must look strategically at the spiritual and cultural factors driving abortion. Within our affiliated network of over 1,350 pregnancy centers and fleet of ICU Mobile medical units, we regularly confront a heartbreaking challenge: repeat clients. When a mom or dad carries the unaddressed trauma, shame, and grief of a past abortion, they remain highly vulnerable to repeating the same painful cycles.
True prevention requires deep healing. This is why Care Net’s Abortion Recovery and Care (ARC) program is so vital. By providing a pathway to forgiveness, ARC addresses the roots of spiritual brokenness, effectively stopping the tragic cycle of repeat abortions at our centers.
Pregnancy centers cannot carry this mantle alone. At Care Net, we firmly believe that “life decisions need life support.” Because the local church is God’s primary instrument for ongoing discipleship and restoration, it is critical for local churches to establish ARC ministries, too. When pastors and congregations partner with us to host ARC small groups, they provide the long-term, grace-filled community needed to heal families from the inside out and close the back door on the abortion industry.
The most beautiful aspect of this ministry is God’s economy of redemption.
Women and men who experience Christ’s restorative grace from a past abortion through this ministry are not just healed, they are mobilized. They are uniquely equipped to help lead others to this freedom and healing in Christ, too.
ARC participants are also the ideal people to go on to serve others facing unplanned pregnancies, preventing them from choosing abortion in the first place. Having walked that difficult road, their peer-to-peer testimonies carry unmatched credibility. They can look a fearful mother or father in the eye, speak truth in love, and effectively empower them to choose life.
