Director of Marketing and Communication
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
Having the opportunity to serve affiliates so that they can raise money through digital fundraising to ensure they have the budget to reach more clients for life and share the Gospel for abundant life. Serving affiliates so that they can expand their reach for life and life abundantly!
What is your favorite Bible verse/book/chapter/section? Why?
Genesis 37-50 covers the life of Joseph, and I have always sought comfort and wisdom in Joseph’s life. Joseph was betrayed from those that he should have been able to trust. He was abandoned, falsely accused, and sentenced a prison term he should have never received; however, through it all, you never read a scripture of Joseph complaining, speaking poorly of others, or having self-pity. He honored God in word and deed through it all.
Why are you pro-life?
I am in love with God, and God is the author of life! I am Pro-Abundant Life because I want everyone to fall in love with Jesus and be radically transformed as I have experienced. In this ministry, we do not need to go out to the mission field. The mission field walks through the doors of the affiliates, seeks them out, and picks up the phone to call the decision line!
What is something people don’t know about you?
As a former educator, one of my positions was to instruct sex-offenders in a residential treatment facility for youth. God used that experience to alter the course of my life. I saw trauma, crisis, and pain in their lives. Although I had taught in private and public schools, the work at the residential treatment facility is where God called me out of teaching and gave me a desire to help others outside the 4 walls of a classroom.
What is your favorite book (other than the Bible!)?
We Were the Lucky Ones – Georgia Hunter
