In 2022, Care Net’s network of more than 1,200 pregnancy centers continued to be a blessing to their communities by providing $96,904,501 in services.

  • In the recent Helping Communities Flourish 2022 Center Service Report, Care Net reported how its affiliated pregnancy centers alleviate social service burdens on local government, facilitate public health, and build healthy families through education and support.

Every day, Care Net affiliated pregnancy centers empower women and men to choose abundant life for their families by providing free, Christ-centered support and services. From 2008-2022, over 1 million babies were saved through affiliated pregnancy centers.

In 2022, Care Net’s network provided health and social services to 405,971 women, men, and families. Some of the highlights for the year include:

  • 202,999 Pregnancy Tests
  • 172,640 Ultrasounds
  • 179,886 Clients Received Baby And Maternal Supplies
  • 71,614 Students Receiving Sexual Health Education
  • 81,649 Clients Receiving Parenting Education

These services were made possible by 18,161 volunteers and 527,613 donors who continued to faithfully serve and support local pregnancy centers.

As organizations providing alternatives to abortion, these centers play a critical role, providing needed and worthy services to their communities. However, critics often paint a picture that depicts pregnancy centers as unregulated, unprofessional, and uninformed. This narrative is false. Care Net’s Commitment of Care and Competence standards provide legal, medical, and professional frameworks that enable centers to operate at a high level. This information, and more, is documented in Care Net’s free e-book, The Truth About Crisis Pregnancy Centers.

In a recent article from Celebrate Life Magazine, Samantha Kaman praised Care Net and the community impact of pregnancy resource centers, saying these organizations “should not be discouraged by the persistent deceptions from the abortion lobby.”

“With a mission dedicated to saving lives and enabling women to move forward with their pregnancies, these centers prove that they value both the mother and the child. Because of the dedicated work of thousands of people, communities will continue to benefit from these centers, and pro-abortion groups will not succeed in diminishing the fruits of their exemplary and courageous labor.”

Furthermore, dozens of state legislatures have passed resolutions over the years recognizing the important contributions that pregnancy centers make in their communities.

In 2002, a joint resolution in the Senate and House of Representatives, introduced by Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) and Congressman Bob Good (R-VA), designated the week of November 7th as “National Pregnancy Center Week.” The resolution, which followed a multitude of violent attacks on centers in the wake of Roe v. Wade being overturned, recognized pregnancy centers as a vital resource to women.

Of the Resolution, Sen. Lee said, “In light of attacks on pregnancy centers across the country, this timely resolution recognizes the unsung heroes dedicated to providing critical services to women across the country. These centers go above and beyond the call of duty, providing services such as free pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, counseling, and education. I’m humbled by their efforts and honored to support their life-affirming work.”
