For five decades, Care Net has walked with women facing pregnancy decisions—not just urging them to choose life, but equipping them to live it abundantly. Choosing life is more than a moment—and more than a transaction. It’s the first step on a longer journey of restoration, stability, and hope. And it starts with understanding the deeper reasons women feel abortion is their only option. Being Pro Abundant Life means we don’t settle for transactional victories. We invest in transformation. We help women move from crisis to stability, from fear to faith, from isolation to community. That’s how we break cycles, not just save lives.

#1 She Needs More Than Conviction—She Needs Support

Knowing life begins at conception isn’t always enough. Today’s culture tells women that personal fulfillment outranks moral truth. As one mother shared,

“Because of our plans for our future and what goals we had set for ourselves. Abortion was the only way to be able to still accomplish those things and to get to where we wanted to be. So we pretty quickly decided that abortion was going to be our only option.”

This isn’t about ignorance of life in the womb. It’s about fear, pressure, and isolation. That’s why Care Net doesn’t just advocate—we intervene with support systems that speak to a woman’s emotional, spiritual, and practical needs.

#2 Abortion is Often a Reaction to Being Alone

Research shows 60% of post-abortive women already have children, and 40% cite lack of financial preparedness as a key reason for abortion. But behind nearly every reason is the absence of one thing: support. Especially from the father. When a woman feels alone, unsupported, and overwhelmed, abortion feels like her only path forward. That’s why Care Net surrounds her with truth, love, and community—so she doesn’t have to walk this road alone.

#3 Thriving Starts with Discipleship, Not Just Delivery

Being pro abundant life means investing in transformation, not settling for a transactional win. Care Net helps women move from crisis to confidence by sharing the hope of the gospel, offering parenting resources, and building long-term relationships through our network of pregnancy centers. We believe her baby deserves life—and she deserves to thrive.

We must see women as whole people, not projects. When we meet them at their point of need, like Jesus did with the woman at the well, we don’t just save a life—we start a story of restoration. That’s what 50 years of Pro Abundant Life ministry looks like.
