In honor of 50 years of Pro Abundant Life ministry, Care Net recently asked its pregnancy center affiliates across the country to submit their favorite client testimonial video. One by one, the videos began to roll in. There were stories of lives saved from abortion, but it didn’t end there. Many clients shared that the pregnancy center also helped them get plugged into a local church, showed them support throughout and after their pregnancy, and the clients shared how they had received material resources that helped them take care of their baby when they thought they had nothing to provide.
We know that pregnancy centers are the hands and feet of Jesus as they strive to continually serve their clients (at no cost to them). The work they do is saving lives and impacting eternity. It is easy to hear a statistic like, “More than one million lives have been saved from abortion since 2008 from Care Net’s affiliates,” and not give it too much more thought…until you see the tiny face of a life that was saved from abortion which suddenly makes it much more real and meaningful.
Client testimonial videos allow us to put a face (of a sweet baby) to the statistic of a life saved from abortion and a name, face, and context to the praise that a client chose life for her baby. Care Net was blessed to receive so many remarkable videos from affiliate pregnancy centers, but due to time constraints, only a few could be selected to share a short clip to highlight the work that your local pregnancy center is doing.
