What is the most rewarding part of your job?

As an Executive Director the most rewarding part of my job was watching my team grow closer together to one another, and growing closer to Christ through our time in devotions. Equally as rewarding is seeing families that have come through the center, now growing spiritually and attending church, and families that have chosen life that are excited about their decision and their future.

What is your favorite Bible verse/book/chapter/section? Why?

I love reading about the women in the Bible and how I relate to each one of them, it personalizes the Bible for me. And, of course the story of Jesus is what keeps me grounded. What I enjoy the most about the Bible is no matter how many times I read a story or a book learn something new.

Why are you pro-life?

I am a product of a mother who chose life, I was adopted as an infant. I also chose abortion twice as a teenager, and know the devastation and destruction it causes. If I can keep just one person from choosing abortion for their baby, then I believe it was worth the pain that I endured, just to save someone else from making the same mistake. I believe in the sanctity of all human life.

What is something people don’t know about you?

I have lived in six different states, and even lived in Guam for three years. I have received 13 fitness certifications and dreamed of being on a fitness video one day. My husband and I would love to plant a church someday, hopefully near mountains and lakes! I could probably eat tacos every day of my life, and I believe dessert is best for breakfast!
