Our Work

Volunteer

Get involved in your local community!

Care Net pregnancy centers rely heavily on the service and commitment of volunteers in their communities. If you have a passion to help women and serve your local community, consider becoming a volunteer.

Here are some of the many ways that you can further the work of pregnancy centers through volunteer work:

  • Organize fundraising events like banquets, walks, and baby bottle campaigns
  • Help develop or update a pregnancy center's website
  • Provide administrative assistance
  • Serve as a phone consultant or peer counselor
  • Coordinate clothing and diaper drives
  • Distribute promotional items and brochures to local churches, schools, and businesses
  • Join a committee or advisory board

The First Step: Find Your Local Center

Each center has unique opportunities to train and serve, so it is important that you locate and contact the pregnancy center in your area to find out more.

To find a center, visit the Option Line website. Click "Find a Center," type in your zip code, and click "Find Location." All centers listed are affiliated with Care Net or another major pregnancy center network. All have signed our Commitment of Care.

If you need further assistance, please call 703.478.5661 or e-mail info@care-net.org.
